We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Lead to play a pivotal role in our rapidly growing EV (Electric Vehicle) Charge team at TSG Solutions UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continual growth of our business and shape the future of sustainable transportation.

This opportunity covers nationwide projects, and we welcome candidates located within commuting distance of one of our offices in Loughborough or Milton Keynes, where you will enjoy a flexible hybrid working pattern.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Project Lead, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our current and future projects within our EV Charging portfolio. Your leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of ICP will enable you to plan, execute, and successfully close projects.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • You will develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
    • You will lead project teams in executing tasks and activities according to the project plan.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • You will regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to keep stakeholders informed.
    • You will manage communication chains between project managers and project teams.
  3. Risk Management:
    • You will identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
    • You will implement risk management strategies and contingency plans.
  4. Budget and Resource Management:
    • You will monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
    • You will collaborate with resource managers to allocate and manage project resources effectively.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    • You will implement and enforce project management methodologies and quality standards throughout the project management team.
    • You will conduct regular project reviews to ensure compliance with established standards.
  6. Timeline Adherence:
    • You will ensure projects are delivered on time by closely monitoring project timelines and taking corrective actions when necessary.
  7. Collaboration:
    • You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables.
    • You will provide support and guidance to project managers to ensure successful collaboration and delivery of projects adhering to internal and external quality standards.

The ideal candidate for this Electrical Project Lead position will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the EV or related industries such as utility networks.
  • Previous experience within an ICP is essential.
  • Professional qualifications such as APM, SMSTS, and NRSWA.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, inspire, and motivate project teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • A willingness to travel nationwide, when required.

TSG Solutions UK offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
