Consultant Paediatric Ophthalmology – Midlands

Location: Midlands
Information: We are seeking a highly skilled paediatric ophthalmology specialist to join our team on a locum basis. The role is initially for 6 months, with the option to extend or convert to a full-time position.
Contract Type: Locum contract.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. To provide high-quality, expert care to children and young people with eye conditions.
  3. To collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  4. To participate in ongoing training and development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in paediatric ophthalmology, including expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and patients.
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities within the healthcare environment.

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
