Job Overview

In a dynamic role as Sodexo's General Assistant and Driver, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the food and beverage service at Great Missenden School. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the visual appeal of the kitchen and its surroundings, showcasing the culinary offerings in an attractive manner.

As a member of the Sodexo team, you will have the opportunity to thrive in a supportive environment that values your individuality and encourages personal growth. You will be required to work a set schedule, with guaranteed days off, including public holidays such as Christmas, and will not be expected to work unsociable hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of meals for the school team and pupils.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and serving areas.
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
  • Adhere to food handling and hygiene regulations.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all equipment and machinery.
  • Uphold the reputation of the company at all times.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate a proactive and organized approach to tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage pressure, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
