Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Fowler Welch. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving, picking, and consolidating customer orders using our Manhattan warehouse management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Picking: Receive and pick customer orders using the Manhattan WMS, maintaining the flow of product in and out of the area as required.
  • Order Fulfillment: Carry out all tasks in a timely and efficient manner to ensure continuity of business for Fowler Welch and our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and despatch loads.
  • Quality Control: Remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the company's Health & Safety policy, SSOW's and HACCP regulations, where appropriate.
  • Customer Service: Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a chilled environment
  • Able to work to targets within a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
  • Conscientious and reliable nature
