Job Title: Personal Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide support for an individual with specific needs. This role is essential in facilitating a comfortable and organized living environment.

Responsibilities:
The Personal Assistant will assist with various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Light household cleaning
  • Scheduling and managing appointments
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and correspondence
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Transportation to and from appointments

Work Schedule:
The position requires a commitment of 12 hours per week, which can be divided flexibly over three days. Possible shift arrangements include:

  • Three shifts of four hours each
  • One shift of six hours and two shifts of three hours

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is £11.70.

Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should be trauma-informed and possess a strong understanding of the sensitivities involved in supporting individuals with anxiety and mobility challenges. It is crucial to approach the role with patience and empathy, ensuring that the service user feels respected and valued.

Additional Information:
An initial meeting and informal interview will be conducted to ensure mutual understanding and compatibility.

Interests:
The service user enjoys music, nature, and animals, and finds sensory experiences beneficial in managing overwhelming situations.
