We're seeking a skilled Nurse Functional Assessor to join our team at Maximus. As a key member of our assessment team, you'll play a vital role in helping customers who are struggling with disabilities or health conditions. With your expertise and experience, you'll provide comprehensive assessments to help determine eligibility for benefits.

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the impact of a person's disability or health condition on their daily life
  • Produce detailed reports to inform benefit decisions
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and support

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
