Job Summary

As a Trainee Metal Worker, you will be responsible for operating manual and CNC-based machinery for metal processing, processing steel to customers' requirements, and working within our quality system to ensure full traceability of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate manual and CNC-based machinery for metal processing
  • Process steel to customers' requirements and tolerances
  • Work within the company's quality system to ensure full traceability of customer orders
  • Operate forklifts, combi lifts, and crane safely and in a controlled manner
  • Load and offload plates and parts from machines
  • Identify and locate different steel products using measuring equipment

Requirements

  • Competency in reading drawings, orders, and following verbal instructions
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
