Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in the East Midlands?

Nicholas Associates Construction Careers are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, BOQ preparation, cost management, planning, and reporting on construction projects.

A strong background in civil engineering, groundworks, earthworks, and ground stabilisation is essential for this role.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career development and progression within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts
  • Oversee cost-related aspects of construction projects
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a civil engineering or groundworks contractor
  • Certification or degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
