Job Title: Clinical Waste Treatment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Clinical Waste Treatment Specialist to assist in the day-to-day operation of our plant, ensuring maximum plant availability and productivity in accordance with company operational procedures and legislative obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload vehicles and trailers, and effectively maneuver waste on the plant and weigh containers.
- Ensure waste containers are emptied, cleaned, and stored in a suitable area ready for collection.
- Coordinate paperwork and reception of deliveries, including suppliers and contractors.
- Oversee safe handling of waste into containers by deliverers, and operate a forklift truck if required.
- Participate in plant shutdowns as necessary, and maintain company operational records and data.
- Draw attention to management of any major defects, concerns, or problems with equipment or the building.
- Work under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and Plant Manager, and assist in duties during breakdowns or controlled stoppages.
- Observe and comply with all safety notices and signs, and ensure work is carried out safely and properly at all times.
- Attend training courses or instruction specific to the job as required, and perform additional duties to ensure safe compliance and continuation of operations.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic individual.
- A team player who can work effectively under pressure and is looking for a challenge.
- Good health record, able to work on own initiative, and punctual.
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to hours, including shift work.
