School Leadership Manager

Job Summary
The Head of School and Community at In Toto Ed - Cambridge is a key leadership role that requires a strong educational background and excellent management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality of teaching and learning, developing an inclusive community, and running the school on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring the curriculum meets the needs of students.
- Develop an inclusive community and family spirit, promoting a positive and innovative learning environment.
- Run the school on a day-to-day basis, making key decisions and taking a full and active part in School Leadership Team meetings.
- Assist in the formulation, discussion, and implementation of the School Development Plan.
- Lead on the appointment of teaching and support staff, observing teaching and monitoring student outcomes.
- Apply and create all policies and procedures appropriately, ensuring the school meets the Independent School Standards.
- Plan annual results days and Prize Giving/Celebration events, and coordinate referrals, annual reviews, and parental contact.
- Ensure the promotion of a positive and innovative learning environment, where learners can reach their full potential, and learning is engaging and challenging.
- Support and develop the professional learning programs and development opportunities for staff.
- Coordinate school trips, oversee the school budget, and ensure the school meets the Independent School Standards in preparation for registration with Ofsted.
Safeguarding and Well-being
The postholder will be required to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) and complete Child Protection Training. They will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children and young people they are responsible for or come into contact with.
