Service Technician – Hastings Depot


We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team at Hastings Depot, part of Stagecoach South East.


The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with vehicles and be committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.


As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses, ensuring they are in top condition to meet the needs of our customers.


You will work closely with a skilled team of engineers, fitters, and technicians to ensure our vehicles are safe and reliable.


In addition to your technical skills, you will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary, up to £20.16 per hour, plus a range of benefits, including free travel on our buses and a contributory pension scheme.

Key Responsibilities



  • Maintain and repair our fleet of buses to ensure they are safe and reliable
  • Work closely with a skilled team of engineers, fitters, and technicians
  • Provide exceptional service to customers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team environment

Requirements



  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Service Technician
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair principles
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
