About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Operations Management Officer to join our team at Chester Voluntary Action. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our food bank and ensuring the efficient delivery of our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Coordinate logistics and operations to ensure the efficient delivery of our services.
- Supply Chain Management: Assist with the provision of emergency food supplies and household items to individuals and families in need.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to support our mission and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure the efficient operation of food pantries and crisis food supplies.
- Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operations and make recommendations for improvement.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with local stakeholders, including food suppliers and community groups, to enhance our services and resources.
- Education: Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Skillset: Excellent organizational and communication skills, strong work ethic, and passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
- Salary:** £27,000 - £32,000 per annum.
