We are seeking a Senior Information Analyst to join our Business Intelligence Team at Whipps Cross Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will transform the way healthcare is provided for local people and be at the forefront of national healthcare redesign.



Main Responsibilities


  • To succeed in this role, you will need excellent analytical skills, a real eye for detail, and experience in carrying out analysis and report writing.
  • You will have a proven track record of using SQL for data extraction and interrogation purposes.
  • You will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance-focused culture where safety, effectiveness, and patient experience are consistently delivered through the provision of high-quality information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, and intelligent modelling.


About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working within a healthcare informatics environment, with experience of NHS acute Trust computer/information systems (Data warehouse, PAS), activity modelling, waiting list profiling, and capacity planning.



You will have detailed knowledge of the NHS data dictionary and its application, as well as the ability to write detailed analytic queries in SQL, investigate and resolve complex queries, issues, and problems.

Barts Health offers a competitive salary package, including a salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and employee assistance programme.
