The Role

As a Site Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the Site Management team to achieve high performance within the site. Your responsibilities will include maximizing customer satisfaction, working efficiently, ensuring accuracy in stock counting, handling stock with care, and adhering to rotation policies to reduce wastage.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Pick orders efficiently to meet time targets, monitoring and responding to incoming customer orders to reduce order queue time.
  2. Pick orders with 100% accuracy, maintaining product quality and adhering to packaging SLAs when preparing customer orders.
  3. Replenish stock efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory, strong merchandising standards, and compliant stock rotation.
  4. Unload deliveries in line with company procedures and support with inventory management as requested.
  5. Ensure the site remains clean and tidy at all times, addressing any hazards urgently, and comply with company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  6. Deliver strong standards within your site, adhering to merchandising and space management principles, and maintaining a clean, tidy, organized site environment.
  7. Maintain good relations to uphold Deliveroo's positive reputation with external parties, including neighbors, landlords, and contractors.
  8. Communicate professionally and effectively with Deliveroo riders and ensure accurate handling of orders to riders, minimizing mistakes.
  9. Maintain appropriate timekeeping, arriving on time for shifts, taking breaks as per policy, and adhering to working time directive requirements.

Requirements

  1. Previous experience in a similar environment (FMCG/Retail/Warehouse/Last mile delivery) is valued but not required.
  2. Hands-on mentality, detailed orientation, comfort working in a fast-paced environment, good communication skills, and proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  3. Fluency in spoken Cantonese and written Chinese is a must, and the right to work in HK is required.
