Lead Clinician

The Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Trafford South Community Mental Health Team (CMHT). As a Lead Clinician, you will be responsible for leading clinical teams, providing expert clinical input, and contributing to service development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service.
• Diagnose and develop management plans for complex presentations.
• Provide high-quality management in treatment-resistant and complex cases.
• Assess and manage risk, including vulnerability, suicide risk, risks to health and safety, and risk of harm to others.
• Prepare reports and attend hearings as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including external partners.

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum

Location: Based at Brookheys, Broadheath, near Altrincham.
