Job Title: Secondary School Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Secondary School Cover Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and have a passion for education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Manage the behaviour of students, ensuring they are engaged in their work
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Ensure that the classroom environment is conducive to learning
  • Support students with their learning and help to create a positive learning environment
  • Mark and assess work where necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area - Desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with secondary school students in any field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Passion for education and a commitment to supporting student learning
  • Ability to deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Ability to manage behaviour and create a positive learning environment
