Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinician to join our team of Psychiatrists in NHS Highland. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote and rural setting, providing mental health services to a diverse population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health services to patients in remote and rural communities
  • Work collaboratively with community health teams, primary care colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement service improvements and special interests
  • Contribute to the teaching and training of students and trainees
  • Participate in the Consultant on-call rota at New Craigs Hospital

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to be on the GMC specialist register in General Adult Psychiatry or within 6 months of award of CCT
  • Ability to work in a remote and rural setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to deliver services using digital technology
