Learning Support and Development Officer Job Profile

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support and Development Officer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality educational programs and services.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Faculty and Learner Support team, ensuring effective coordination and communication with faculty members, learners, and internal stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data analysis and reporting: Conduct thorough data analysis and produce high-quality reports to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with faculty members, learners, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement.
  • Event planning and coordination: Plan, coordinate, and deliver high-quality events that promote learning and development.
  • Organizational and planning skills: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Governance and risk management understanding: Apply knowledge of governance principles and risk management practices to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Multitasking and adaptability: Demonstrate ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent level of education: Possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Microcomputer skills: Proven proficiency in Microsoft Programs, including Excel, Outlook, and website updates.
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development and learning.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
  • Teamwork and collaboration: Proven experience of working effectively within a team environment.
  • Pressure management and resolution: Ability to work under pressure, resolving issues and meeting deadlines in a challenging environment.
  • Database and spreadsheet expertise: Excellent working knowledge of creating and/or maintaining databases and spreadsheets.

The estimated salary for this position is £29,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
