Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sewer Technician to join our Water Recycling Networks team. As a key member of our Management Team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Field Technicians and ensuring the optimal performance of our sewerage infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead investigations into repeat customer and operational issues within Water Recycling Networks, coordinating with stakeholders for cost-effective solutions while prioritizing customer needs.
  2. Manage resources to minimize service disruption and pollution resulting from asset failure or service loss.
  3. Effectively handle severe weather incidents and utilize systems to monitor asset and resource performance.
  4. Support, monitor, and coach field resources in sewerage system maintenance techniques to deliver excellent customer service.
  5. Collaborate with our IMR repair colleagues to drive forward a reduction in repeat blockages and flooding.
  6. Collaborate and share knowledge with Wholesale Services (OMC), Fleet Services, and Customer Services (CAM) teams to optimize field resource utilization and minimize operational risks and costs through prioritization, backlog reduction, effective scheduling, and provision of out-of-hours support.
Requirements
  1. Extensive proven operational experience in Water Recycling Networks or sewerage processes.
  2. A strong understanding of Health and Safety.
  3. A full UK driving license.
  4. A team player with the ability to collaborate and work with a wide range of teams.
  5. Knowledge/experience of High Pressure Jetting equipment and confined spaces.
  6. A flexible approach to work, including management standby.
  7. The ability to work within a confined space and at height without restrictions, with a maximum weight limit of 113 kilograms.
  8. Demonstrate the ability to analyze information and situations, fault-find, and provide solutions.
