Job Title: Database Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Database Officer to join our team at the Centre for Liver and Gastrointestinal Research (CLGR) within the University of Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, collating, and inputting clinical information into departmental databases, as well as searching, filtering, and reporting on data held within the datasets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the CLGR databases by recording and collating accurate data from various sources.
  • Query and summarize information, prepare data for internal clinical audits, and participate in regular meetings under the direction of the CLGR Database Managers.
  • Undertake responsibilities within any area of the department and maintain competency in all processes.

Person Specification:
