NHS England is seeking a Deputy Head of School to support the Head of School in leading the delivery of various functions aligned to the NHS England mandate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality, management, and supervision of programmes within the School, meeting standards defined by Health Education England, the GMC, and Royal College.

Collaborating closely with the Head of School, NHSE's senior educators, other Heads of Schools, Directors of Medical Education, and Training Programme Directors, the Deputy Head of School will ensure each trainee has access to a comprehensive range of experiences to cover speciality curricula.

NHS England holds a Sponsor Licence, enabling sponsorship for eligible candidates, subject to Home Office requirements.

The role is part of a national system, with a focus on prevention, reducing health inequalities, and promoting equality and diversity.

A flat rate of £10,000 per PA, per year, will be paid to a Trust for successful candidates appointed to TPD roles.
