Job Title: Loan Asset Management Associate Director

At Barings, we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and integrity. We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Asset Management Associate Director to join our Portfolio Finance team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to work directly with our deal team and external borrowers in the critical investment closing process and oversight through the life cycle of complex portfolio level loan facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the deal team with onboarding and closing new deals, including participation in the review of legal documentation and compliance with Loan Asset Management functions and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing servicing and administration functions on loans, including compliance and covenant monitoring, borrower relationship management, and financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with Treasury & Investment Operations teams to support investments and develop and improve processes.
  • Ensure deliverables are managed to a high standard and within timelines.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of relevant investment, investment operations/support experience preferably with investing or servicing private equity, private real estate, or private credit and lending documents.
  • Ability to develop credibility and build relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail, project/time management, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced-to-mastery use of Excel and proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
