Audiologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at Stepping Hill Hospital. As a Band 5 permanent Audiologist, you will be responsible for undertaking specialist diagnostic tests on adults and assisting with testing of paediatrics.
You will provide aural rehabilitation and hearing aid services for patients with hearing impairment of all ages, as well as training opportunities to support clinics and career development.
Main Responsibilities- Provide rehabilitative advice and reassurance to patients with hearing impairments, including those with additional sensory or learning disabilities.
- Assist senior colleagues with testing on all ages of paediatrics.
- Use the Audiology patient management system to record patient details, test results, earmould details, and hearing aid settings and maintenance.
- Liaise with other Trust departments and health professionals as necessary.

Person Specification- BSc Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Deaf and Equality & Diversity Awareness.
- Experience working within an Audiology team.
- Good manual dexterity for fine tool use.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
