We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at ESS Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Electro-Mechanical Repairs: Perform electro-mechanical repairs to our PLC-controlled plant, handling and conveying equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
- Facilities Maintenance: Maintain the plant facilities and services, including compressed air systems.
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Input to and carry out preventive and predictive maintenance routines to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Operations Support: Support the operations team in achieving targets and ensuring the efficient operation of our plant.
- Equipment Management: Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain a high level of quality and safety in all aspects of your work, including adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Housekeeping: Keep clean any areas in which you are working, including transit areas, the workshop, and stores.
- Training and Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, including cross-skilling and other job-related competencies.
- CMMS: Input data into our maintenance management system (CMMS), including records of all changes, stores transactions, and work carried out.
- Qualifications: Trades qualification in Electrical with good Mechanical knowledge.
- Skills and Experience: Multi-skilled/cross-skilled ethos, aptitude for process awareness, diagnostic/trouble-shooting experience gained in a high-volume environment.
- Teamwork and Initiative: Good team player with the ability to use your initiative and work independently.
- Computer Skills: Computer skills an advantage.
