About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join our team at Eden Brown Synergy. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students in a Further Education College in Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive support to students where a safeguarding or wellbeing concern has been identified, ensuring they receive the correct level of support at the earliest opportunity.
  • Triage referrals from a digitised system, signposting to internal and external sources of support, and providing early help and crisis support interventions.
  • Operate with a high level of confidentiality and ensure effective cross-college communications.
Requirements
  • Experience of using CPOMS
  • Good understanding of PREVENT
  • Experience of coaching and motivating learners of different ages and abilities
  • Current DBS
