Senior Oil Trading Operations Specialist

A world leading Oil & Energy Trading firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Oil Product Operations specialist to join their Front Office Trading Operations Department.

About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of oil trading, focusing on oil products rather than crude. Your expertise in cargo documentation, including bills of lading, inspections, letters of credit, and voyage orders, will be crucial in ensuring seamless transactions.

We are looking for an individual with a deep understanding of customs requirements, including the necessary documentation for various locations. Your knowledge of REACH compliance and experience in the ARA barge market will also be highly valued.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oil trading and shipping operations within European markets, with a focus on oil products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex cargo documentation and customs regulations.
  • An excellent understanding of transportation logistics, including storage and blending operations.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package of approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with your level of experience. In addition to this, you will have access to opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
