Care Home Clinical Deputy Director of Care Services

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Care Home Clinical Deputy Director of Care Services to join our team at Hillside Lodge Care Home in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Manager to support the delivery of exceptional care to residents, ensuring that all company policies, regulations, and care plans are met.
As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the care team to deliver outstanding levels of care, promoting choice and independence for residents.
You will achieve the highest possible standards of care, enhance the resident experience, and develop an excellent reputation for the home.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and inspire the care team to deliver special experiences to residents, promoting choice and independence.
- Achieve the highest possible standards of care and enhance the resident experience.
- Work with the Home Manager to implement care home policies around standards care, staff welfare, and training.
- Develop personal contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors to enhance the quality of life.
- Deputise in the overall management of the care home, including the production of reports, budgets, and Quality of Life monitoring.
- Take responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of yourself and others, including colleagues, residents, and visitors to the Home.
**Requirements**
- A registered nurse with experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place.
- Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
- Able to support and guide others in line with the NMC Code.
- Experienced in working in the healthcare sector.
- Driven and motivated, believing in quality care.
