We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our team at PIB Group. As a Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing a market-leading service to our clients, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
About the Role
You will be working closely with our Senior Paralegals to handle defended litigation, drafting and serving possession notices, and preparing bundles for court hearings. You will also be responsible for reviewing files and providing supervised advice to our insurer clients and their policy holders.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and serve possession notices on tenants renting in England and Wales.
- Draft claim forms and particulars of claim for possession and debt matters, sending them to the court for issue.
- Prepare bundles for court hearings, liaising with clients and agents to ensure they have everything they need.
- Support Senior Paralegals with the handling of defended litigation, by liaising with clients and taking instructions.
- Review files and provide supervised advice to our insurer clients and their policy holders.
- Manage inbound post on client matters, ensuring all directions of the court and legislative timescales are met.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work on the telephone and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with experience with Adobe Pro an advantage.
- Attention to detail is essential, as you will be drafting and reviewing large amounts of information and documents.
- Being organised is also important, as you will need to be able to speak with clients and progress their cases promptly.
