About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team at The Cornerstone Academy.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continuity of learning for our students when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality cover supervision in a variety of lessons, following the guidance of the Vice Principal.
  • Support the delivery of learning experiences that cater to the needs of all students, maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment.
  • Ensure students are aware of learning objectives at the start of each lesson.
  • Set high expectations for learning and behavior, both in and out of lessons.
  • Seek to make learning a positive experience for all students.
About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is highly organized and a skilled influencer.

You will be flexible, have excellent team working skills, and be committed to your own professional development.

Experience with a school Management Information System is a distinct advantage.

You will have confidence in engaging with the school team and a willingness to contribute to school life outside the classroom.

Excellent numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
