Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Healthier West Wirral Primary Care Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our services.

About Us

Our Primary Care Network supports over 70,000 patients across six GP practices in Wirral. We are a forward-thinking organization that values innovation and collaboration. Our team is made up of experienced healthcare professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide clinical leadership and expertise in assessing, examining, investigating, and diagnosing patients within their area of work.
  • To manage own caseload and clinical priorities according to agreed protocols and working practices.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary clinics, ward rounds, patient reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
  • A registered healthcare professional with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent at MSc level.
  • An independent Non-Medical Prescriber registered with their relevant professional body.
  • Experience in acute, community, primary, social care medicine, encompassing advanced assessment, critical thinking, and clinical management skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
