Job Title: Security Officer

We are seeking a proactive Security Officer to join our team at Thistles Shopping Centre in Stirling. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out daily/weekly/monthly duties as outlined in the site Assignment Instructions
  • Be present on the mall to ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained
  • Conduct patrols covering all areas of the shopping mall and service yards
  • Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden
  • Oversee external contractor management to ensure safe working practices
Requirements:
  • Enjoy working as part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to assist with accurate report writing
  • Smart, well-groomed and confident
  • Conflict Management aware
  • High level of customer care awareness
  • Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from both a loss prevention aspect and health & safety
  • SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence
