Job Title: Aspiring Psychologists / Therapists - Primary School

EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Aspiring Psychologists / Therapists - Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates to gain valuable experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and supportive school environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for working with children with SEN. As an Aspiring Psychologist / Therapist - Primary School, you will work closely with experienced professionals to provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support students with SEN in 1:1, group, or whole-class settings, ensuring their safety and access to learning.
  • Assist in monitoring students' progress and providing feedback on their achievements and needs.
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions as required.
  • Support students' personal needs and behavior management.
  • Undertake learning activities and teaching programs, adjusting activities to meet students' learning goals.
  • Assist with supervision of students outside of lesson times, including playtimes and lunchtime duty.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Education, Social Work).
  • Strong academic record, including A-Levels, BTECs, and GCSEs.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive daily rate: £105-£110.
  • Long-term, full-time contract (5 days per week, Monday-Friday).
