About The Role

Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Handover and Completion Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful handover, completion, and commissioning of our projects.

In this role, you will work closely with senior project managers, designated individuals, and the project quality team to achieve technical assurance sign-off, enabling handover, completion, and commissioning in accordance with the accepted programme. You will also collaborate with the land team to develop and deliver a programme for land restoration and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring readiness using a 'T minus' approach to enable timely handover, completion, and commissioning
  • Assisting with the technical review and close-out of ITP quality packs
  • Identifying blockers and issues early, suggesting potential solutions, and enabling appropriate corrective action to be considered and taken to protect programme delivery
  • Collaborating with the commercial team to notify any changes to the process, such as drafting Early Warning Notices and General Communications
  • Following handover, completion, and commissioning policies, procedures, and guidance in the Business Management System

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree-level qualification in civil engineering or a relevant field, who is chartered and has experience in construction project execution, handover, completion, and commissioning activities on major projects. You should also have experience in the management of QMS on major multi-disciplinary projects in the construction industry, with multiple stakeholders.

Additionally, you should have experience of Technical Assurance Certification packages, Handover and Completion, and experience in Network Rail AMP and GRIP/PACE processes. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle are also required.
