About the Role:
The ideal candidate for this SEMH Learning Support Assistant position will be a Psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in Education or Therapy. You'll work alongside a dedicated inclusion team, teachers, and SLT, engaging with specialists regularly and receiving high-quality CPD opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND and/or Social Inclusion needs
- Collaborate with the inclusion staff to facilitate effective differentiation of tasks for students
- Work with small groups or individual students on specific tasks, promoting academic and personal growth
Requirements:
- A strong academic background, preferably in Psychology or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and colleagues alike
- A genuine passion for working in education, with a commitment to making a positive impact on young people's lives
