Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or in classes
  • Knowledge and understanding of various SEN needs
  • Flexibility, patience and proactivity
  • Effective communication skills
  • Trained in safeguarding or relevant experience

Desirable:

  • Team Teach Trained
  • NVQ Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent
  • Understanding of the UK SEN Code of Practice
