Job Title: Christmas Porter

We are seeking a friendly and helpful individual to join our team as a Christmas Porter. As a Temporary Trolley Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our car park during the busy festive season.

As a Christmas Porter, you will be responsible for replenishing trolley stocks and relocating trolleys towards the front of the store, after collecting empties from customers or the trolley bays. You will also be expected to provide excellent customer service, smiling and greeting customers, and making their visit as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Replenishing trolley stocks and relocating trolleys
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Working outside in all weather conditions

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work well under pressure, have good communication skills, and be able to wear a white shirt, black skirt/trousers, and black shoes, which will be provided with a warm hi-vis jacket, hat, and other necessary equipment.

This is a temporary position, working approximately 30 hours per week, including paid breaks. The hourly rate of pay is £11.44.

The successful candidate will be required to wear uniform and adhere to company policies and procedures.
