Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Educator to join our team at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd. As a Childcare Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students on Level 3 Childcare and related programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching and assessment strategies to meet the needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum programs, including course design and delivery.
  • Provide academic tutorial support to students, including setting and marking coursework and practicals.
  • Act as a Course Leader and Academic Tutor, leading and supporting the development of the curriculum and academic programs.
  • Contribute to the school community, identifying opportunities for employment and skills-focused study for learners and seeking ways to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Qualified to degree level as a minimum in Childcare and Education, Early Years, Health and Social Care, Nursing, or another relevant subject.
  • Experience of teaching Level 3 Childcare, Level 3 Health & Social Care and Access to HE in an FE College, School, or private provider.
  • A successful record of tutoring and supporting learners and of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing progress.
