Academic Quality Assurance Director

Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical and medical device company, is seeking a highly skilled Academic Quality Assurance Manager to lead their Quality Assurance activities. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and compliant GMP standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a governance process to ensure uniform high standards across the organization
- Collaborate with the broader organization to share best practices and drive continuous improvement
- Establish a clear and concise scorecard to track progress and status
- Escalate issues of significance in a timely manner
- Lead a team of quality assurance professionals to support operations and ensure compliance
- Manage QA activity in relation to EU-wide distribution and supply chains
- Work with contract manufacturers to ensure compliance and implement audit systems for internal audits
- Risk governance processes to understand and proactively manage risk
- Establish/improve metrics to demonstrate and understand changes in performance in terms of Compliance
Requirements:
- Degree-level education or track record in a similar QA position
- Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacture and Distribution (ideally generic pharma)
- Quality Assurance experience
- Management experience
- QP Status
