Job Title: Streetworks Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Streetworks Administrator to join our team at W P RECRUITMENT HR LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and monitoring applications for work permits from contractors and companies for the road network, as well as updating and maintaining permit scheme database and website with street works activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and administer traffic orders
* Update and maintain permit scheme database and website with street works activities
* Process and record payments for all chargeable activities
* Assist in the preparation of traffic management plans and reports
* Ensure compliance to statutory regulations and minimize disruption to the network
Requirements:
* Strong administrative background with excellent attention to detail
* Good knowledge of the island
* Previous highways experience is an advantage but training will be given
* Good level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
* Good level of initiative and ability to prioritize workload to deadlines
* Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
Salary: £13.50 per hour worked
