Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team at Jark PLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Flexi forklift truck to move and stack pallets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick and pack orders according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Use an RF gun to scan and process items accurately.
  • Ensure the warehouse is organised, clean, and safe at all times.
  • Assist with stock control, including stock taking and inventory management.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Be able to operate a Flexi forklift truck to move and stack pallets safely and efficiently.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in using RF guns and other warehouse technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and moving heavy items.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a mechanical or engineering-related warehouse.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to warehouse operations.
