We are a leading provider of specialist Waterfront In-Service Support to one of the Royal Navy's Submarine Programs. Our mission is to deliver safe, efficient and responsive support to the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Our team is responsible for the management of operations at RNAD Coulport and supports the joint US and UK submarine design efforts.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of £65,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a 4xFlex working pattern, a 4 week from Monday to Thursday, hybrid and flexible working arrangement with typically 2 days a week onsite.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and resolving issues with our server and network infrastructure.
  • Configuring and managing virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and group policies.
  • Monitoring network performance and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Oversight of backup, disaster recovery, and data integrity solutions.
  • Implementing and maintaining critical security protocols.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar 3rd line support role.
  • Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with Windows Exchange Server.
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and hardware, including VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and routers.
  • Strong experience with virtualisation platforms (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Understanding of security best practices, backup concepts and disaster recovery planning.
