Mechanical Engineer - Static Integrity

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics invites applications for the position of Mechanical Engineer - Static Integrity. As part of our dynamic Asset Management sector, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our static engineering function.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects, guiding teams of engineers, and developing lasting relationships with clients. You will leverage your expertise in industry-leading tools such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD, Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise, Hexagon VVD & PV Elite, and Bentley STAAD to drive innovation and growth.

Successful candidates should possess excellent technical skills, combined with strong commercial awareness. A solid understanding of relevant industry standards, including API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, and PD5500, will be highly beneficial.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the execution of a wide-ranging portfolio of projects.
  • Deliver expert guidance to teams of engineers across various disciplines.
  • Forge long-lasting relationships with clients, identifying areas for expansion and collaboration.
  • Drive innovation and growth through the application of advanced techniques and industry-standard tools.
Competencies and Qualifications:
  • Strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in industry-leading software such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD, Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise, Hexagon VVD & PV Elite, and Bentley STAAD.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards including API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, and PD5500.
