Quantity Surveying Professional

This is a challenging role for a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV-Library in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing site start budgets, managing sub-contract processes and collaborating closely with build and site teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical approach to identifying and managing project costs, risks and opportunities. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar quantity surveyor role is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of quantity surveying service on projects.
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations), ensure cost-to-complete accuracy and manage commercial budgets in line with accounting schedules.
- Communicate project status and monitor progress.
- Prepare management reports, including detailed costed risk registers.
- Administer cost/variation procedures and carry out post-contract surveying duties.
- Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with site teams to resolve project issues and conduct risk assessments and contingency planning.
- Provide daily cost management of projects from estimate preparation and cost planning through to final account settlements.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to clients, highlighting project status, financial performance and risks.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for money.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Estimated Salary: £59,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
