About the Role

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at Barts Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, working in the department, on the ward, and in theatre.
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment, and facilities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy to ensure a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification, and high levels of technical knowledge.
  • Post-qualification and registration experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.
