Princess Alice Hospice is a leading adult hospice in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of over a million people in Surrey, south west London, and Middlesex. We rely on fundraising to raise over £10 million annually to deliver our free palliative and end-of-life care services.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Community and Events Fundraiser to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community and events fundraising strategies to grow our vital income stream.
Key responsibilities include:
- Proactively managing relationships with individuals and groups within the community to identify and develop new fundraising opportunities
- Maximising opportunities from existing supporters and developing new partnerships to grow our income
- Working closely with the Senior Community and Events Fundraiser to develop and implement fundraising strategies
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual with a strong track record in community and events fundraising. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with supporters and stakeholders.
You will be a flexible thinker, with a creative approach to fundraising and a passion for community engagement. You will also have a strong understanding of charity fundraising principles and practices.
