Job Title: Highly Specialized Cardiac Physiologist

Location: Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team as a Highly Specialized Cardiac Physiologist. In this challenging role, you will provide expert support in the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data from various cardiac assessments, making important clinical decisions that impact patient outcomes. You will also participate in clinical audits and research projects to support service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support in the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices
  • Analyze and interpret complex cardiac data to inform clinical decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Cardiac Device Lead to ensure the smooth running of the Cardiac Physiology Service
  • Train and supervise junior physiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare staff
  • Participate in clinical audits and research projects to support service improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge in cardiac rhythm management and ensure continuous professional development

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Cardiac Physiologist with significant experience in cardiac device management. You will have a postgraduate qualification in Cardiac Rhythm Management and be registered with either RCCP or HCPC.
