Kafka Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Kafka Engineer to join our team at Myles Roberts. As a Kafka Engineer, you will be responsible for building and deploying Kafka clusters on both on-prem and public cloud Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable Kafka clusters on Kubernetes
  • Develop and maintain high-performance Kafka applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of Kafka clusters
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex Kafka-related issues
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with Kafka and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
