**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA and help us maintain a secure environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Security Manager in developing and implementing security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage and review access control systems to ensure the security and integrity of our assets.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities of security personnel to ensure effective security operations.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential security threats.
- Monitor security systems and respond to incidents promptly to minimize disruption to our business.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed to ensure a swift and effective response to security incidents.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on security protocols to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities and obligations.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and actions taken to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and information security.
**Requirements**
- Extensive experience working in a security role, with a strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage and coordinate security operations.
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of working with security software and systems.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate records and reporting.
