Procurement Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Director to join our team at Resourcing Group.

The role of Purchasing Team Leader is responsible for the coordination of the purchasing team and relevant activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver procurement strategy
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure smooth operations by promoting collaboration with internal departments and maintaining strong supplier relationships
• Implement key performance metrics and reports for stakeholders' review
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers
• Assess supplier performance and competitiveness using KPIs
• Expedite orders and manage delivery schedules
• Suggest improvements to optimize procurement processes
• Lead daily activities of the purchasing department, delegating tasks and supervising teams

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial negotiation and international supply chain management
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning
• Able to lead small teams and prioritize tasks
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
