Inventory Management Specialist

GXO Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join their team in Blyth. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing stock levels, processing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of up to £29,120 per annum, plus a 20% night shift allowance. You will work on an 'any 5 from 7' shift pattern, typically Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS
- Process stock orders and manage stock levels
- Assist in stock counts and audits to ensure inventory integrity
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to colleagues and customers
Requirements:
- Experience working with WMS and inventory management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as required
